Summary of Board Requirement:
The Board of Nursing of Oregon requires CPR certification with practical skills component that adheres to the Healthcare Provider level training standards. It requires ACLS or PALS certifications based on patient requirements.
Board Statement:
The Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for all registered nurses. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required for RNs working in the ICU or with adults. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required for RNs working with pediatric patients.
CPR/FA Training is a part of of the CNA curriculum.

American Healthcare Academy offers its courses through Post Graduate Institute of Medicine which is jointly accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
