- Understanding the principles and techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants.
- Learning the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in emergency situations.
- Recognizing the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest and other emergencies requiring CPR/AED intervention.
- Developing the ability to perform CPR and operate an AED confidently and effectively.
- Complying with current Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) guidelines and best practices.
